Meet me this Friday, August 31st!

Howdy-do, campers!

Sorry I’ve been MIA.  I’ve been writing a heck of a lot.  I’m happy to report that my next book is coming along.  I can’t wait to be able to tell you more about it, but for now mums the word.  Between that, studio meetings (yes, there’s been a lot of that.  I can’t talk about that either, but I promise to let you know more if there’s anything concrete to report.  I’m awfully tight-lipped, aren’t I?) and a little trip I’m taking to France with some of my best writer buds, Amy Plum, Tara Hudson and Anna Carey, it’s been insane around here.

Speaking of which, one of these buds, Anna Carey, is going to be doing the event at Vroman’s in Pasadena with me this Friday at 7:00.  If you’re interested in coming along click HERE for more information.  I sure hope everyone of you in the So-Cal area can make it.  It’s going to be a ton of fun.  Anna is hi-larious!

On a completely different note, I’m going to have to cut this short.  My cat Onion just fell off the couch and hurt her leg.  She’s old, and she’s always sort of been a dud health-wise.  I swear I’ve spent more money on her doctor’s bill over the past 13 years than I have my own.  I’m going to go watch her now with my finger on the vet’s number.  Speak soon.

Oh, and stay tuned for a little giveaway.  As soon as I get it all worked out I’ll let you know.

  1. Yeah for book writing, I miss hearing from you though. I’m still keeping my fingers crossed for you to finally come to Seattle for an event, I want to meet you in person so much.

  2. Hello, I just wanted to say that I am a big fan, I picked up the book out of curiosity when it came out and ever since I’ve been dying to know what will happen. Any my point is that I was listening to this song one day and instantly thought of Dreamless. The song is called Gravity by Hit the Lights. I just felt it fit the book and would look good in a trailer. Please check out the song, and thank you for your time.
P.S. Best of luck in France, I hear they have the best crepes in the world! ;)

  3. Hope your cat will be all right :).
Can’t wait to read Goddess. I loved Starcrossed and Dreamless (they were both amazing) and now I’m so obsessed with Goddess. Can’t wait to see Goddess’s cover. I’m sure it will be gorgeous.
See? I’m really obsessed. Four sentences and all about Goddess :D I even thought your cat’s name is Orion first time I read it.

  4. SO EXCITED for Goddess! Everytime I think of it, I have to go and read Starcrossed and Dreamless again! Unfortunately, I live in Northern Ireland, and although a girl can dream, I doubt you have plans for it! Oh well, I’ll have to content myself with reading more of your amazing books!
You’ve definately been the first author that has inspired me to write, so it’s all down to you Josie ;) Thank-you x
